We buy organic and local farm raised meats, fresh wild fish and seafood whenever possible and have a small herb garden and fruit trees.
Giving to the Community Recycling Station
We will be donating two months accommodations to the volunteer students from the New York Institute of Technology while they build Nosara’s new community run recycling station. Donate on the sLAB Nosara recycle kickstarter page.
Hotel Recycling
We separate all recyclables and food waste, compost all organics and use biodegradable take away containers, plastic bags and garbage bags.
Zero Plastic Bottles
To help reduce the amount of plastic in the world we have stopped buying any drinks in plastic bottles. All beer and soft drinks come in reusable or recyclable glass bottles, and we only serve tap water. Available for purchase are our environmentally friendly stainless steel water bottles to take with you to the beach.
